Kawann Shorts visits East Chicago Children

so KK is from east chicago and he went back for a little meet and greet with some kids that lived in the same area as him. went to several places to sign autographs and give speeches.

 

i thought it was neat to share

i thought it was interesting he got his bachelor of science in technology, leadership and innovation and is planning to go back to get his masters at purdue. good to hear he has plans other than football

I love the pick, but Kony Ealy isn't exactly a valedictorian. Nor does he need to be, I suppose.

He's a hell of a player and seems like a good guy.  This makes me very proud to root for him.

Nice.  I wasn't necessarily talking about degrees, but mainly smart people that will be able to understand the playbook.  Especially later round draft picks that don't quite have the athletic ability compared to the early round guys.  Their ability to learn quit may decide whether or not they land on the final roster.
