Wll he's a former 2 or 3 time strongman champ, I cant remember how many. Well anyways, he's been fighting in MMA now for a couple of years and its a cant miss event everytime for obvious reasons.

Who else but Butterbean, cmon, he's the big man's 21st century yardstick. If you cant beat him then you suck. Well here's how he looks in a fight. Scary funny? Im not sure how to describe it

BoB Sapp vs Mariusz Pudzianowski. . hilarious, both well over the 265 SuperHeavy weight limit.

I'm not sure these guys has as many roids as you think.  I'm sure they use some sort of enhancements just like all NFL players do (don't kid yourself).  The difference is these guys come from an Icelandic culture where EVERYONE wants to be a strong man competitor.   Just watch the VICE documentary on it on youtube.  You can go into an electronic store and there is a normal, strongman there working.  Despite only like 500k population or something, a huge chunk of these people are amazingly strong.  When you've been training and doing things like this from a very young age, you are going to be a beast.   I also think they are just large people because of their genes, so you have that too.   Tough man competitions require some speed, agility, and some pretty good footwork or else you would hurt yourself bad, very often.   These guys pull big rig trucks and things, often.   Maybe they wouldn't be the best offensive lineman from the outside, but on the inside or even DL, I could see them being pretty good.

The big thing everyone is forgetting though is you have to be smart to be on the offensive line, or at least to a point.  I believe the IQ's of offensive lineman are higher than any other position.  You have to have the mix of str/athleticism with some smarts to be able to learn when and what to do on the line too.

Genes do play a huge role in all. I'm scottish, with about 25% OP genes. Thejohnson side of my family was unreal, living til the 90s with great health.plus I have size on both sides.

The viking genes are the best currently, which is what these man beast are made form. I'm done some training with these type men(even johnny perry old bros) 100% of them where on all sorts of stuff, animalroids, igf, hgh and HIGH doses too. Id would have done similar stuff, but my doctor told me the risk due to the bad heart genes in 75% of my pool. I still rember a few young guys training with us. Clean never done the stuff, start the cycles and BOOM!!!! Increase 100+ lbs bench within two weeks, no more waking up sore and able to training much longer than me. And we are talking about men that where already super strong and big framed. People take roids cause they work and all of these already huge/strong take them too.

Brock Lesnar couldnt handle pain. Thats why he failed. People underestimated how effective guys like some of the Gracies, and the Shamrock brothers were just because they would be determined to take more punishment than you while still dishing it out. Shamrock used to load up on pain pills late in his career to compensate for his ability to deal with it. In the end he stopped beating people and starting getting mauled for 5 rounds in a pain pill induced drunken stupor.

    • I personally think you are trying to talk yourself into circles here... It's ok to say Bryce played incredible the last 5 weeks... I know there are plenty of people on this board who desperately need the doom-and-gloom narrative, but I genuinely question how much NFL QB play some of these people really have watched when they still question him being the unquestioned starter for next year...  Again, that being said, no one is crowning him at all. I think Bryce is one of the best stories going into 2025 bc his season last year was so outlandishly unprecedented. It's totally fair to personally not believe in Bryce. Plenty of sports "journalists" need to write stories, and that's an easy narrative path... But I think that actual people in the know rank Bryce much higher. That's the fun thing about sports... we shall see!
    • Regardless of how we got here, any rational fan should be excited by how well Bryce played down the stretch. Anyone not happy about that level of play either doesn't know what they're looking at, or they're still trying to drive tired narratives. Obviously, Cam had an all-time rookie season, and I'm not putting the two in the same basket yet, but as someone who has watched every snap of Panthers football since the start of the new millennium (Im old), Bryce was playing at a higher level at the end of 2024 than Cam was at the end of 2012 (his 2nd season). Cam continued to develop into MVP form, something Bryce has to prove, but as someone who watched both (and will stan for Cam always), Bryce was playing at a higher level to end year 2 than Cam did.  Go watch the film if you dont believe me. None of that means anything for the future. But the people who said BY9 couldnt play in this league are wrong.   That being said, the only thing that matters is this year. #20 is perfectly fair IMO going into the season. I mean think about it, how would you rank him??!  His in-season turnaround is one of the wildest things I've ever seen... how do you rank a guy who looked like a massive bust in September and by January was consistently playing at a top 10 level? My excitement level is pretty damn high heading into this season. There were throws from the Chiefs game onward where Bryce had Drew Brees levels of anticipation. Im excited to see what he can do with a full deck on offense, something we really never gave Cam. Really hope and expect Bryce to move up this list this season.
    • Not really, the only QB's (other than Anthony Richardson) ranked below him are new to their teams as a placeholder starter or drafted in 2024 or 2025, not a lot of gymnastics to get there. It's not about how many that is, if it's 20, 12, or 2... It means there isn't a QB who's team has committed to them for the long term right now that they have ranked below Bryce. That's not a great thing.
