You know what. He's trying. Good for him. Most people are hoping the Jaguars fall on the sword and go to LA so other small markets can keep their teams. He's trying to make it work and we would want the same from the Richardsons if interest dwindled.

 

They had a great crowd for the USA Soccer Game last weekend.

That means doing things that no other NFL team does. Starting this season, the Jaguars will be showing a constant stream of the NFL Red Zone feed in the four displays in the end zones so fans can watch the Jaguars while keeping up with the rest of the league or tracking their fantasy team.

Basically the formula for Jaguars success is, "Well if we can't get them to watch our shitty product on the field, we should at least try to get them in the stadium to take a cut of the Buffalo Wild Wings and Glory Days dollars. Once we get them inside, it doesn't matter what the fug they do."

Teams are going to have to think outside the box in order to attract fans particularly when the team isnt winning. I think this is a great experiment and they just tarped over the seats anyway so there is nothing to lose.  Lets be real here, why would you pay 100 dollars a seat to see the Jags play right now?  It isnt like they have PSLs which forces people to buy tickets.  This is definitely worth a try.

Pretty ridiculous how conceited some of y'all are acting when our own team has been known to have pathetic home attendance at times. Then I see people killing on the Jags for their on field performance when historically we have been mediocre at best, having just made the playoffs for the first time in half a decade... Jeez.

 

It's a pretty cool idea, lets see how it plays out.
