Does anybody think Melissa McCarthy is funny?

That's just it. When you see the same thing a couple times, you stop laughing and start sighing as the predictability sets in...

 

And nobody said anything abut them becoming famous. The point was, famous or not, the shtick is the same and therefore less funny as we see it time and again.

Honestly, she's just fitting into that cesspool called Hollywood. It's not like they have any original ideas anymore... I mean, c'mon, they're doing craptastic remakes of 80's movies for crying out loud. I'm not shocked the actors are just following suit.

 

 

Indie is the only semi-decent movie genre now. Everything else has already been done, or worse, remade yet again.

I've at least seen Will Ferrell change it up though. I really enjoyed Stranger than Fiction for example.

she's not bad. she gets typecast to hell and back but that's not surprising… most comedic actors do

 

maybe she can go the route of fellow fat actor jonah hill and diversify her roles
