no need to use the youtube tags. just paste the link directly into a post. if it's a mobile link, switch out the m. for www.

some mobile devices don't show the video when the tags are used for some reason.

He roots for the falcons every game except when he plays them

i can't blame him and don't hold it against him. it was his home team growing up. you can't all of a sudden drop lifetime allegiances just because you got a job somewhere.

i don't doubt he's loyal to the panthers, but loyalty to the panthers doesn't require hatred for a division rival or even not being a fan of them. he can't help where he was born or grew up or who even who his home team was while growing up. the only thing that matters is that he gives his all when playing any team and i think he does, esp. when he's playing his old home team.

No offense to Newton, but I never take any athlete's declarations of love for where they play all that seriously.  Plenty of guys whose heart was with one team have ended up signing with another.

It's good to hear though.  I like when someone embraces their role.

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
