Was anyone as thoroughly impressed as I was with this movie? I saw it in 3D mostly by accident (because I had to see it at a certain time)

As far as it being 3D, I really didn't see the need for it. The movie itself was really good, and there's no doubt it's better than "Rise" (which was good as well). And judging by it's ending, I'm guessing this will be a trilogy.

Isnt this the 3rd one of the reboot? Glad it is good because the I thought the last one of the reboot was too.

This is the 2nd in the series, the Mark Walberg Apes movies has nothing to do with these....

 

Id like to go see it, prob'ly just buy the BluRay when its released.....

It was pretty great.  I liked the first but this is even better.  Nothing to really complain about, can't wait for the 3rd.

I love the POTA franchise so need to watch this.  Not making it to a movie theater though...
