I'm hoping that Godfrey turns it around enough to make the squad. If you remember, Beason looked bad last preseason and played sub-par into the regular season as well, but by mid season on the Giants, he was maybe their best defender. Makes it seem that the Achilles tear is something that you can come back from in a year, but maybe it takes a bit longer to be playing at 100 percent.

 

I just think back to a few years ago when everyone was calling for Sherrod Martin's head and Godfrey was maybe our best DB. If he could get back to that level and translate his talent to the nickle position, I think we could have not just an adequate, but a really good secondary.

I was there this morning and agree 100% Godfrey got brunt deep a few times today. A question for Zod or anyone else out there today. Is it me or do our receiver seem to do a better job of getting sepration than last years group? If that is the case is that a reflection of our receivers, secondary or just wet conditions.

We haven't the slightest clue the distance to target or corresponding trajectory necessary on this windup.

How in the world can you make such a stab in the pitch-black, dead-of-night dark roll off like such a matter-of-fact condemnation and still look yourself in the mirror each morning?

Maybe he's pissed that JStew is sitting out yet another camp which means his workload will be ramped up which is not ideal for an over 30 RB. He also knows JStew will be inserted into the starting lineup after missing camp and not putting in the reps. That poo would piss me off, I know that much.
