Make everything about a play challengeable.

instead of having overtimes, if the score is tied after 4 quarters, both teams remove their helmets and pads and FIGHT TO THE DEATH

Changes some of the rules where the NFL doesn't look like Arena Football. 

 

Bring back the OLD "one chuck" anywhere on the field for the defense.  As long as the ball isn't in the air a DB could knock a receiver out of his pattern.

 

I date myself with this one.   I remember as a kid playing this way.

I would LOVE if it were possible that 2-3 players on each team could be mic'd up and fans could "subscribe" to that players mic for the entire game.

 

Obvious issues with huddle/sideline coaching aside, it would be awesome to hear more of the game on the field than just a few short seconds.

It would add too many injuries. It would decrease the quality of the games and particularly the playoffs. As the saying goes, less is more.
