Have to agree with most here...MDX. I like Acuras, they are a good value, solid, reliable, and retain value. Not only that but more mechanics can easily work on them than say an Audi, although I assume you'll want to find a specialized mechanic for a car 30k+.

You can't get more soccer mom like than a Honda Pilot.

Seats 8 which comes in handy game days carrying half the team.

Brother to the MDX, I'd check financing from both Honda and Acura, price will certainly be less, resale will be excellent either way.

I would go MDX then Lexus GX.

 

 

We are looking this year as well for the wife.  She has an older Z71 Tahoe with almost 240k on it.

 

I drive a TL and love Acura's but leaning toward Lexus for her for a better ride.

Would be fun to drive, but like BMW's and Mercedes, there is pretty big depreciation and maintenance costs compared to the Acura.

I'm thinking about a Q5 myself...or it's new Porsche cousin.  Those are bad ass.  The TDI version gets better gas mileage than the hybrid, and has more torque than the high end turbo.  Sign me up, bitches!

I traded in my 2012 XJL Supercharged that was at the 1/2 way mark of the lease and just ordered a 2015 F Type Coupe R with the panoramic roof, salsa red exterior and suede cloth interior.  Very similar to this on the exterior options but the interior is different
