Tight ends

Geeze, Goal line situation with Williams and Benji wide, Dickson and Olsen on the line and Tolbert in the backfield...Jesus christ that sounds unstoppable.

And Cam a threat to jump right over the line into the end zone. Hopefully our blocking is good enough to make use of our red zone beasts.

Rarely or if ever to you any team use 3 TEs on a passing play. But this is a triple combo that I would love to see in the regular season when it comes to Passing. With those 3 guys line up and Tolbert and Stewart in the Back field and KB out right or left. This could be a dangerous end zone team this year. Hope it works out. But us carrying 3 TEs is going to be tough. We will see in the coming weeks I guess.

all this talk of 3 TEs... it may come down to 3 TEs or 6 WRs. if that is the case, which would you guys rather go with? are you more confident in our receivers or in our TEs?

let me ask it more specifically... are you more confident in Brandon Williams or Philly Brown/Tony Clemmons/Tiquan Underwoood/Kealoha Pilares?

My thoughts are that we keep Bersin and King as numbers 4 and 5 on the WR chart behind Benji and the vets. and we keep our 3 stud TEs. but thats just what i would do... i am still waiting for Shula to give me a reason to trust him.

    • Pytor kochetkov assigned to Chicago for conditioning stint. Wonder if he gets playing time in the playoffs if Bussi or Freddy flounders
    • What specific LT at 19 are all of the OT Stan’s wanting? Be specific. All have issues and are not guaranteed to improve the OL.. The chances of one of these LT’s who are projected at 19 (Proctor, Lomu) being a bust is much higher than a guy like Lemon/Concepcion imo. Do you really want to draft a kid who has weight struggles along with lateral movement issues? And the other who was a shitty run blocker vs Big 12 competition? Morgan and Co. want to see how Rasheed Walker plays.. They also want to see how Icky’s rehab goes.. There’s a lot of  “wait and see at OT”  We don’t have the luxury for our 1st round pick being a backup. We lack top end talent. Morgan and the others have made it known they want to win now. For that reason, I’m almost positive we punt on OT in the first this year and worry about it next year in the first round if need be.    Thieneman would be ideal. He’s a natural “center field” safety with great coverage skills. For the posters who want trade up for Downs…Do you realize he struggles in coverage? He’s more of a box safety. We already have two of those players.. I wouldn’t mind trading in front of the Vikings for the Thieneman though.. Next need would be DT, but I don’t see the value there at 19.. Same with edge. WR at #19 is very realistic. Who would improve this team more than Lemon/Concepcion? You could argue a slot CB, but the value isn’t great there either. People tend to forget the Seattle Seahawks game.. Yes BY sucked, but no one was getting open.. We could use a quick savvy route runner to beat man coverage. TMAC and Coker are great, but consistently creating separation vs Man Coverage is not their strength.
