Igo's write-ups

I must say, the write ups on carolinahuddle.com are some of the best things going right now. The way Igo incorporates his own photos into his write ups is uniquely awesome and really adds a cool perspective on the Panthers that you don't find through other media outlets. I have really been able to enjoy my poop breaks this preseason because of these articles (Even after my legs fall asleep from sitting too long).

Good work CarolinaHuddle.

it's great getting somewhat of an outside perspective..  by that I mean a perspective that's unique from the news & observer or player/coach speak.  The fact that zod knows what he's talking about helps even more.

the biggest thing I've enjoyed from the podcasts are the perspectives coming from people always around the organization but can give their own opinion on things.  Most of which we don't ever get to hear about.

Been a lurker on the forum for years, always enjoyed the banter (well most of it) but the Huddle has taken a serious step up this year. I actually find me checking my phone at work to see if any TC summary updates have been posted.

Outstanding coverage this year.

Reppin' Huddle West

I believe it.  We have to keep his motivation at peak levels or else we're fuged...

I agree.  Really great and unique coverage.  Between this and Black and Blue review this might be the best coverage the Panthers have ever had.

But I heard that in an effort to save money the Panthers are going to fire Jeremy then hire Joe Person and give him an Iphone to take pictures with.

I have been thinking it, but never said it.  Good call.

Jeremy gives visuals (important for a population of readers dependent upon illustrated text) that tell the story.  He opens camp to the reader by telling the story behind the picture.  Meanwhile, I have literally learned nothing from Joe Person.  He is the captain obvious of the Panther media.

i've gotten dead legs like five times this week. thanks jeremy

I think it goes without saying that phillyb needs to drop any and all of his dreams (writing a book, etc) and just write for the huddle...  you may hate your life and feel your abilities are being wasted on trash, but it's not all about you man.  It's about the Panther fans.  You wouldn't tell CJ or Cam to traverse the world when we need them to win games, right?  I know I'm right..

    • One thing about it, he's not thinking about retiring. I found it odd that some Huddlers were taking rumors and running with them, imagining a slow down and "up-playing" injuries. Moton feels great and is still in his prime according to him, and his game is still indicative of his thoughts.  Sure, it may ultimately come down to economics, but I am sure that everyone involved is motivated to keep him in Charlotte.
    • I think the knee stuff with Moton has been blown way out of proportion. The exact quote was “It’s chronic stuff. Most linemen deal with it. But it’s just figuring out what we can do to make sure it’s limited and I’m still able to explode off it, which right now I can and I feel like I can in the future,” After a while, you start learning more about it and what can we do to make sure it’s as little of an issue as possible. I feel like I’m moving like I was when I was younger.” I don't view that as a guy who's saying his knees are on their last leg I see that as a 10-year NFL olineman saying that obviously after 10 years of playing a really physical sport, he's never truly gonna be 100% healthy again and he's gonna need to spend more time with the training staff to ensure his body can continue to perform at a high level. I think Moton has another 3 to 5 years left if he wants to continue playing.
    • So much crying. Tiresome. All of you should have had enough time to come to terms with the team picking up his 5th year...
