What are you most EXCITED for this season?!

I'm sorry but, is there EVER an optimistic thread not made by Jeremy. Cheer up and be positive! Sure, the O-Line isn't looking great and that has been established for quite a while. Nagging on and on about it surely won't make it better. Keep your heads up! What happened, happened. Just enjoy the ride, I mean we only played one PRESEASON game. Let's just calm down a bit. Anyways the point of this thread is for us to discuss the things we are most EXCITED for this season (not things we are most worried about).

P.S. It would be great if this could be a non-hateful thread, just for once. Thanks and a happy discussion for all!

sorry bro. i am a realist. i am most excited to see if the Panthers can make a winning team out of the amazing talent they have, and the scary questions that remain.

this team scares the crap out of me. a few key injuries, and the Panthers follow the same old trend this year. however, with health and providence and playing-to-potential, the Panthers could repeat the success of last year. it is most exciting to me to see if the Panthers can finally get the monkey off their back about winning seasons, and in the process make history by being repeat NFC South Champs. i will take the former without the latter, so long as playoffs are involved. otherwise, even a winning season will seem like a hollow victory.

Can the Panthers make something special out of the hand they've been dealt?

that is what is most exciting...

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
