It wasn't Bells fault anymore than Amini.  The point of stunting one guy to the inside and the inside man outside is to cause just what happened.  If they had been playing together Bell would have slid off his man and taken Amini's and vice versa.  But they really haven't played that much together in the preseason given Bell is playing a new position and Amini missed most of last year.  They will look at film and discuss what to do the next time.  That is the point of preseason.

Hey, now. There is no room at the huddle for logic and common sense much less actual football knowledge.

I perfer to let the people who admit they don't know much about football but tell me how bad Bell is and that he needs to be cut.  We can't get a good mob going if people stop to think.

How about you just actually watch the games and watch Bell to see how bad he is? Sounds logical to me.

I don't see how playing together has anything to do with it. Bell has been starting on the line for the past 3 years. He should recognize when this happens and/or to stay in place. I don't see how he thought chasing after a guy that already went buy him was a good idea. He at least should have noticed what was happening and stayed in his spot to block the lineman crossing or someone. I don't see how film helps Bell either. I've seen him continually doing this in games.

The reality is that the offense line has to play together and anticipate each other's moves and work together.  So far they don't have good chemistry.  Much of that is because you are constantly shuffling players in and out so there is no continuity.  Bell is learning and improving which is what you want.  Unfortunately he isn't a first round blue chipper and has taken time to get things together.  Why don't you focus on the plays he does well to give yourself balance instead of always focusing on the negative.

where in the world do you see this improvement? Or is it something that is made up just to feel better about the situation? And how is chasing after a lineman good in any passing situation?

With time and playing together they will be able to anticipate each other's moves and play as one.  What you saw is what happens when they don't play together and try to stay with their man instead of work together.

As for what you saw, people see what they expect to see as much as what really happened. Do you know what protection they were in and what they supposed to do on that play when the defense did what they did?   unless you know that you don't really have a clue what they were supposed to do.

I kind of think spinning around isn't supposed to be the objective.

He is better moving his feet and has a much better side step to his left.  His punch is better and he doesn't drop back as much as he did on the right side.

And if you think I am advocating for a linemen to chase anyone you aren't paying attention at all.

You're not advocating it, but I see him spinning around after getting beat or just standing around blocking no one while the QB gets sacked or pressured many times.

You are a waste of time.  Keep up the hate, you do it well. But I find it a waste of time trying to convince you of anything when your mind is all ready made up. It is like trying to teach a pig to whistle.  It frustrate the guy teaching and is totally wasted on the pig.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
