I think this shows that all of us should finally start to trust our FO, especially our GM. This aint Madden, which some on here will perhaps never understand. I love the fact we kept all of our picks except for an injured RB and sneaked two undrafted Rookies into the final 53. Gettle & Co. know.

The sixth round pick and all four 7th round picks of the Rams were cut. Not good enough.

 

 

The Panthers keep all of their picks and also three UDFA......

It's a funny world. We traded our 7th to move up for Bene in the 5th who made the squad. Gaffney tore his knee on his first run which somehow led to us finding Fozzy. Anybody regretting that pick-up?

 

It's hard for 6th and 7th rounders to stick. Guys like Hardy don't come around often. Munnerlyn is the only other late rounder I can think of off hand that made an impact.

 

Other than Sam, who did STL release? never even heard of them. Gilbert I remember reading we scouted as a UDFA prospect.

 

Panthers sucking on the UDFA teet for Oline talent. Bell and Chandler too.

      Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .

      Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.

      Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
