You haven't seen him against starting competition and you haven't seen him in a live game to know that or not. And we aren't really that young Avant and Cotchery are both over 30.

What does seeing him against starting competition have to do with his ability to catch?

You can't be serious, look they all can catch. Your ability to catch when defenses are game planning against you and a top notch defender is in your face is the difference.

I believe we will miss Ginn more than any receiver from last season. Call me crazy, but if you watch the season review that is playing on TWC over and over, Ginn made a game changing catch and play 4 or 5 times last season. I'm not saying he is a #1 receiver, but the dude was actually clutch at times for us last season, not to mention his punt returns.

I agree we will miss him more than any other receiver from lost year, but it all comes down to the money. 1 year $1 million vs 3 year $10 million deal. (max $15 million) We leased him, he produced, and got paid. I wish he was still here, but business is business.

Everyone wanted Dickson out of Baltimore because he had horrible hands. :(

Yes, that is the first thought I get when I hear his name.

And I keep waiting for the drops to start, but I also heard that Flacco had too much heat and poor placement on shorter passes--who knows--but he has been catching the ball here.  I think he is a better blocker than I thought he would be as well.

I haven't said anything about signing stephen hill. But if we do sign a receiver that isn't a returner, Bersin is the first guy on the chopping block.

People are so caught up on Stephen Hill, they're missing the point. I think we need an upgrade at WR, whoever that may be.

I wanted Hill out of school but he was a 2-3 year project at least.

I am so happy for Bersin that I don't really care if we signed Hill or not.

We have seen guys produce better in different systems, plus we have seen no receiver ever produce for the Jets.

If we sign him, it will to be WR4 right now, meaning with Olsen on the roster he won't see that much if any time on the field. But he can continue to develop.

But Bersin worked his ass off and I am happy for him. So I don't care either way.

    • I used to think Juan was a Zod alt. Agree he's a great poster.
    • Hawks said nah we good and sent him to the shadow realm aka the Wizards. Cold blooded. I mean they're 2-2 in a series with a young up and coming Knicks team largely through 34 year old CJ McCollum. Even if they ultimately lose the series at least they are there and have something to build on. I think Hornets fans are just beaten down and lack the objectivity to assess the situation. They think we are going to get so much worse if and when we finally change gears. Worse how? We've already been a lottery team for years now. We've already been looking to win our first playoff series in about a quarter century. We already can't get past the play in and in failing to do so we have completely embarrassed ourselves twice looking like we don't even belong. Honestly there is absolutely no excuse for a team like the Magic to be more competitive and successful than us in the playoffs. Absolutely disgusting. But that's just me. I was fuging lit when we got the Hornets back in Charlotte but that is old old news. It's time for these boys to get into a playoff series. Enough is enough. If they can't do it for 2026-27 then they need to make wholesale changes regardless.
    • Not one single pick that is asking me why we drafted a guy in the first place. It was a guy we needed and/or a guy that had certain traits making them stand out. Best of all, I feel everyone we drafted are capable of stepping onto the field this year and have a meaningful role (even Kuwatch on special teams). Obviously, nothing is guaranteed but I'm not seeing any huge flags on guys because they're risky projects or massive overreaches.
