Barber: Anderson Attended Production meeting

Cam missing this week will not mean he is all healthy next week.   Rib fractures can take MONTHS to completely heal sometimes.           Should we bench him against any team with a dominant defensive player on their line,  and then start him only against teams with poor Dlines?    Be it this week,  or next week or the week after next,  Cam will have to play and deal with the pain...  if Rivera is afraid of playing him until he is completely healed,  then he may as well IR him for the season.

 

 

I say play him..  the sooner he gets into real game situations,  the better.   It's going to be painful for him no matter which week he starts,  may as well start week 1.

I think Rivera sits Cam to be over protective..then again with this O-Line who can blame him.

Since when did his hairline or stress fracture turn into a "broken rib". Everyone is implying he snapped a freaking rib and he can't move... stress fractures are pain... I've had 3 in my feet and one on my clavicle before. Not even a splint involved guys. It's not like he tore a ligament in his shoulder and he risks aggravating it by going out and playing today. We aren't team doctors by any means but I'm just taking what they gave us regarding being a hairline. I bet if you gave full body X rays to every nfl player active this week that you could find a hairline fracture somewhere on at least 25% of them.

DA does not give us our best chance to win. He's a backup. He's a backup on probably 28 to 30 teams in the NFL. On the other hand, the guy you want him to replace is a top ten QB. Let's also not ignore the fact that DA is coming off his own injury, one to the hand he throws the ball with.

DA may start, but don't try to convince anyone that he gives us our best chance to win.

This is my big take away from this. You never hear people talk about the production meetings until the game is actually being played but for some reason Barber thinks it is ok to disclose this info before the game?
