All Anderson proved today is...

Anderson proved a lot today. Cam will battle injury the rest of his career given his playing style. Anderson is extremely valuable and should be Cam's backup until he decides to retire.

when did Cam become soft like Sam Bradford or RGKnee?

hes been an ironman up until this offseason.

DA gave us the best chance to win today while resting Cam for the future. Like I said, if you are a fan of the team and not a player you are very happy that DA was so solid on the road. The best case scenario for the Panthers. Anderson was a big part of the win today. 20 points on the road is more than we averaged last year. His,passer rating was 110 or so. It doesn't get better than that......

he proved several things... first he can be a starter so look for teams to bait trades... second our oline is capable of protecting a qb with much time... third Cam should take it a level higher or drama can quicker become a reality in Carolina especially if Cam stays weeks and DA performs. many won't like that comment but it happens too often in this league.

DA basically guaranteed us that we won't be able to afford him next year so a trade is not a bad idea if the Rams bite.

Anderson could have left Charlotte this offseason and competed for a starting job somewhere else and probably gotten more money. I bet he stays in Charlotte as long as the panthers want him.

He has a pretty sweet gig here and could easily backup cam for another few years.

i believe it was when the organization realized how good he is and told him to sit down and get healthy before he goes out there.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
