Ex-Panther vs Ex-Panther

Smitty can obviously still play. I think Gettleman knew he was drafting a WR early and simply didn't want Smitty around the young guy. A lot of the things we love about Smitty are also things you don't necessarily want rubbing off on a young guy. Smitty is mad about the release but it is what it is. It lit a fire under his ass again and the Ravens get to benefit.

He's playing a Steelers defense. Keep it in perspective. He's not bad but this is the Steeler's team that almost lost to the browns at home I might add.

Flacco is targeting Smitty a bit excessively. Missing wide open people in the endzone.

We call that Jake Delhomme/Cam Newton disease.

I think you call that the Steve Smith disease. If steve smith is one of your wr then you know he wants you to throw it to him at all times.

Beat Bengals defense even worse last week. He can definitely still play when he has that fire. The problem with keeping him was he lost that fire here. Cutting him brought it back in him.

Dude, you must be kidding. His only big play came on a busted play and a missed face mask penalty. Prior to that, he had 14 targets, 6 catches and 38yds.
