63.2% chance of making the playoffs.

Last year we came back from terrible 0-2 start which gave us around an 11% chance of making the post season. We defied those odds and bullied our way into the postseason anyways. Out of the last 5 years we are the only team out of 60 playoff teams to make the post season after that start.

Jump ahead a year we sit at 2-0 atop the NFC south with a clear path to dominate. We defied odds last year but this year we aim to comply with the statistics.

Starting off strong has been a problem in the Rivera era but we seemed to have taken care of that problem in the 4th year.

Cheers to being in the drivers seat on the road to the playoffs.

Today was my turning point. I am not scared one bit of any team remaining on our schedule.. Saints are 0-2 and lost to the Browns, the Packers hardly beat the Jets at lambeu field, we wont lose to Seattle a 3rd time. This team only knows how to win, the only team I say is clearly better than us is Denver. Other than that, I think 10-6 is our floor

Stating our playoff chances doesn't declare us a playoff team. I think some of you forget that.

Anyways good teams except to make the playoffs year after year. Some of you guys still don't realize we are different from the teams who don't win back to back. This is the first of many successful seasons.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
