Kelvins TD

I think DA understands better on where to put the ball for Kelvin. That was text book ball placement. If you watch some of Kelvins catches from cam, many are Kelvin making a great play on a poor throw.

Cam may understand placement but executing is a different story.

Cam placed a perfect one for him too....Kelvin did a horrible job on it

This repeated!

KB should have had 2 TDs last night. He mistimed his jump on the Cam throw, and even after that, he still got his hands on the ball. He just dropped it. So, we can stop this DA knows how to throw to KB better crap. KB has just dropped more of Cams passes.

That just raises the question on why KB tried harder on DA's passes? Is Cam a leader or would the players prefer to have DA in the game?

    • Its possible. Given the higher value and longer expected career length of WR vs. RB I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't pushing to play WR himself, but honestly Samuel would've probably been best used as a Deebo type of player - essentially a RB/WR hybrid. And yeah, drafting him right after CMC was head scratching and I said so at the time. Like, why did we just draft a poor man's version of CMC right after drafting CMC. I said the same when we drafted Funchess. Why did we just draft a poor man's version of KB when we just spent a 1st rounder on KB last year?
    • Samuel was definitely a 'tweener.   I would argue he would have had a better career as a RB in the NFL, especially as the 3rd down back.  He was projected to be a better RB than WR at the next level by many draft gurus.  Your right though, he was a poor man's CMC and the reason we opted to make him a WR because CMC was eating up the RB reps.
    • You're arguing against posts that haven't even been made. Roughly half the thread is people arguing it's a good move and the other half is people saying he's a mid-level starter who isn't worth carrying this type of cap impact. I don't think I've seen a single person saying he's a below average QB at best and that's why you're backpedaling. First it was "terrible", now it's "below average at best". Mischaracterizing others' arguments doesn't make yours stronger.
