You don't know. Maybe they'll move Klein to the Will and he may perform better there than at the Sam and have Blackburn at the Sam where I feel he plays better than Klein. Or it may be someone new altogether. You never know. i mean the NFL is full of stories of stars who make the best use of their opportunities.

The reality is despite how poorly the team played Sunday we still had the opportunity to win that game. Philly's fumble was the bitch to me. I could handle a loss but to not see our team get a chance to keep it close is what hurt me.

 

What we know about the team now through 3 games is that we have a good WR core and piss poor run blocking. We need to start opening the run with the pass. Everyone complained that we didn't run the ball enough Sunday. But whats the point in running if the blocks aren't holding up. KB has shown that he's going to win the deep pass more often than not. He's just too damn big and I think Shula needs to show a little more faith to rely on his play. Doing this against the Ravens and Steve Smith would be a huge statement about our faith in the future of the team.

 

I really do think KB is that good. His role in the offense can change everything.  Much like Smith once upon a time.

i think people are more deflated than anything. winning 13 out of the last 14 had us used to deeply enjoying every single gameday and then getting blown the fug out has really brought us back down to earth. i haven't even really wanted to think about football for the last two days.

we'll show up to play against the ravens. i think we'll win… if not we'll be competitive, and that's all you can ask for, especially with the injuries we've got mounting.

The only real area we have bad injuries is RB. And ever since the ink dried on Dwill and Stews contracts I have been told RB is nothing more than a plug and play position

Davis being hurt, hurts. But we got Luke who will keep LBs straight.

We will be fine. I am still pumped up for this season.

In the past 48 hours, we've had a bad loss and suffered a slew of key injuries. Is that all it takes for people to give up on the entire team and season? Do you guys think that every team that makes the playoffs does so without taking a bad loss and getting banged up along the way?

 

Last time I checked we were still tied for 1st place in the division. We still have Luke anchoring that defense with that great defensive line. We have KB out there looking like the best rookie receiver since Randy Moss. 

 

We're 3 games into a 16 game season. I have full confidence that we're going to beat the Ravens and go to 3-1 and then we'll see where things go from there.

That's because 95% here are all drama and mouth.... we can easily be in for a pleasant surprise come week 13! We have issues that can be corrected. And though we have several names many are attached to they can be replaced. So the lesson thus far is reevaluate annually. No one should be given a roster spot.

No, in this case you kind of do know.  TD has been playing at a high level for years and was playing at a high level this year.  Chase Blackburn isn't some young prospect.  He's a 31 year old career backup.  He's a good backup to have, but he's not going to step in and out-play TD.  That's just ridiculous.

If we can get healthy we'll be ok, but have you seen our next 7 games? Ravens, Bears, Bengals, Packers, Seahawks, Saints, and the Eagles. That a tough stretch to go through with the injuries we have. Can we do it sure. We need to be realistic. If we can just find a way to win three of those games we'll have a chance to steal a wildcard down the stretch.

Why would we need to steal the wildcard? The other NFC south teams play almost the same schedule.

... it took me about two weeks after the loss against SF .....  that's how it is if you are a fan, you get down after a poor showing and a loss, but you get over it and you have faith that the next game will be different and that things will be turned around.
