How many of you felt this way today?

If we were going to lose, I'm glad it was Steve that did it. I was hoping he'd have a monster game and the Ravens would still somehow lose. Why be a Panthers fan if you're not going to cheer for their success first and foremost? But I'm happy for Steve being able to shove it in the front office's face that he's still a baller. It stings worse right now because it's fresh, but hopefully when we're 6-2 in a few weeks it won't be a big deal.

Not quite, but I loved every second of Smittys systematic and vicious dismantling of our team. G-Man got it wrong and he deserved to be punished. Having the player he wronged torch the team that g man fired him from was as pure a form of justice that will ever exist in this world.

On this same line here... a guy I work with who is a Steelers fan here in Wilmington was at BWW's watching the Steelers game and he said there was a group of Panthers fans cheering every time Smitty made a play and especially the TDs.

wtf?

This team isn't the Carolina Steve Smith's...  I liked Smitty when he played here, but I am a Panthers fan.

    • As much as I would love to sit here and bash on Young.  I can't.   He is absolutely a part of this team winning.  He is the cool hand leading the offense along with the hammer, Rico.  He's making plays on 3rd and 4th downs, that are absolutely helping thus team win.  Is Bryce playing as well as we'd like? Nope. Although he had only 1 week off from a high ankle sprain.   No question he was 100% in the Greenbay game.  I'm not even sure where the team would find a clear upgrade over Byrce.  He is a leader.  In the 4th quarter, he has ice in his veins.  He is a part of why our team is enjoyable to watch again.  Without him, we wouldn't be winning.    Anyways.  Y'all enjoy yet another thread designed to tear down the man.
    • Great article on all the Lil Canes attending their debutantes ball. Walt with a great breakdown of all the rookies, as always, and I'm a huge fan of his team coverage, he is truly a treasure, but as a fan of mixed metaphors and superfluous language which some might ignorantly refer to as a "run-on sentence" I never really understood what that mean or where to put the comma after a quote in the middle of a sentence, but holy poo Walt, this is a gem, "While there's a long road left in front of them left to determine whether or not they'll have that same success on the blue line again, the beginning stretch of the journey has been thrown a wrench, and the story on defense has been the emergence of up-and-comers forced into becoming lineup regulars." , bravo, take a bow, sir!
    • How do I activate said Krispy Kreme deal? I'm stoned man you can't be playing with me about this...
