Word was he went a long time without fumbling, then suddenly had a rash of them.

 

Probably more to the point though, as of less than two weeks ago Jason LaCanfora reported he was still rehabbing a hip injury.  An injured hip is rough for a runningback, and when you throw in that the reason we're looking for one is because we've got so many injured already, then I'd say you've got pretty good reason not to sign another guy who's already hurting.

Really, if this guy turns out the way I think he will, he should stick with us long term. That would make Brockel expendable.

Absolutely would love him but I think our GM would like to fix our OL next year.

225 isn't bad.   We need someone who can pound back.  We don't need a RB that falls down at first contact.
