I am right. I'm part of the Draught group.

But keep acting like you know what's going on with our business because you park there.

So explain why the parking rates got hiked and.why there are fewer parking spaces along the sidewalk.

Telling me you're part of a group explains nothing nor provides any information.

In previous years all of the businesses that use that lot hired the parking company to manage the game day parking in that lot. All of the businesses in both of the buildings surrounding that lot have a certain number of spots that are "theirs" to use as outlined in the leases. Since Draught was opening, we decided that using our spots for our CANS:Recycled party and to allow our friends to tailgate in our spaces means more to us than the game day parking lot revenue we could have received by renting the spaces. This is why the Huddle has two free spots to use for every game. The rest of the businesses and the parking lot company retained control over the remainder of the lot (even though we originally played around with the idea of buying the rest of the spaces, too). Since we kept our spaces, the parking lot company was losing the 30 or whatever spaces in their rev share program, and I can only assume that they chose to raise the rates to try and keep the revenue the are making on the smaller inventory comparable to what it previously was.

Now....are we the bad guys for allowing our Panther fan friends to tailgate for free in OUR spaces and for creating an awesome home game party? Or should you talk to the people who made the decision to raise your rate to keep their profits in line?

Now it's your turn....please enlighten us on all of the "stupid demands" we've made on the parking lot company and tell us which days/nights you've been to the restaurant that makes you such an expert on the demographics of the crowd.

btw that porta potty is pry the best amenity that a tailgate could have. ..ever..like forever. foreva... forevaeva....oh and i pooped in it

It makes all the difference. I now order jons for the two tailgates beside us because they were jealous of ours.

The most I ever had to wait to use it was 5 mins. And that was because Arsen was pooping.

This is what I bring to my tailgates. Only the finest plastic produced by the worlds most advanced rotational molding equipment is suitable for my ass.

When asked why our parking rates were increased $150 within a few weeks of the season starting over the $350 we already paid, the parking company provided us with the explanation I originally posted.

And... the 4 of us have been toasting pre-game and enjoying a post game bite to eat in what is now your establishment for many years.

Congratulations.

They told you that Draught made "stupid demands" on them? Well, they lied to you. I can't even imagine what kind of demands they could be referring to. Draught doesn't share the parking lot revenue with them and we don't tell them what to do with their spaces just as they don't tell is how to use ours. Again...we lose out on that money just to try and create the best Panthers party we can.

That's great you frequented Hartigan's. I used to, too. I've danced in that cage many times. But why would that make you say our crowd looks the same? That couldn't be any further from the truth. Maybe you should pop in after the game for a toast so I can show you what it's really like.

I bet you're the guy in the truck that parks in one of the top spots by the grass....right next to my buddies in the fire truck. Right?

No, we never parked at the grass because a lot of kids like to play out there. I don't own a truck unless you consider an SUV a truck. I did see the converted fire truck last game. We park across and down few spaces from him.

We were told the property owners wanted a bigger piece of the gate and because there were fewer parking spaces available the rates were increased to make that happen. Or, we could simply say no and move to another lot.

I'll be there. I can't wait. My first game, my first tailgate, and I will be bringing three others. Can't wait to get there and finally meet some of you guys.

Just make sure you do not turn your back on Arsen....he has a habit of grabbing guys asses.
