The fact is tho, that Cam Newton and this offense will go nowhere without an elite D.

 

That is not Newton's or the offense fault because for the better part of 4 years the Panther's FO has been asleep at the wheel while our offensive personnel has regressed, opting to pour almost everything into our Defense.

 

On a good night, without defensive help, our offense will give you 20 points.

 

This defense MUST continue to play like they did for the 2nd half to give our team a shot.

 

I kinda agree with this. This team doesn't have the o-line, or receivers to put up a ton of points every game. The defense has to be a lot like the 2nd half of this bears game for this team to go anywhere.

Cam has been better than the rest of the offense all season.  Its nice that everybody kind of caught up to him in the second half.  Dropped passes and piss poor protection are no way to judge our franchise QB.  I

Cam's been great.  Watching NFL network before the game and they had a quick segment on him about how he's doing about all you can expect. What I noticed was that in each of the dropbacks they showed he was hitting his 3rd or fourth read.

Cam literally made 3-4 throws not even some of the ELITE QB's could make. At what point does DG actually give him some damn help. With a good OL this kid would make any WR look good.

When your evolving into an elite qb you go through this games when nobody shows up to play except you and your down big. Especially when your OC is garbage and your defense is looked poor.
