When's Tolbert projected to be back?

Anyone know how he's been and when he's projected to return?  I understand we put him on that temp IR/designated to return list so was curious what that time frame is like.

Not that it would make a huge difference behind this line but he is our starting FB and all.

????? So like 2 bad games takes him from being the best FB in the league to "terrible?"

Last season he wasn't the best FB in the league he was the most popular. I'd rather have a FB that is an excellent blocker.

He is a terrible fullback. Excellent goal line runner normally but not this season.

I wouldn't say terrible but yeah.

I mean we line up in the 'i' a good deal so with Brockel on IR, we're either taking that out or maybe using Obi or B. Will (That could get creative).

There's possibly an opportunity for Shula to infuse a little more creativity into the offense because of these injuries.  I mean we run more of a methodical Erdhart-Perkins than a traditional Coryell anyways so I think there's an opportunity presenting itself with Williams and Brown on offense.  We've shown a little with Brown so far.

I'll give you a dollar if you actually typed out the words "Shula" and "Creativity" without smiling.

    • I really liked a lot of what I saw in his presser. Someone said he was really dumb, I don’t think so. Maybe, like a lot of people, he is dumb about some stuff but I believe he knows football and defense especially.  What I didn’t particularly want to hear was the all in on Bryce but if he is right, I can go along. We’ll see if he is right.
    • Hunt should probably be left alone and then moved after 2026 or restructured to make that cut less cap impactful. We cannot keep paying a guy that much at RG, especially when he isn't a truly elite IOL. Brown is definitely a candidate for some restructuring and maybe an extension.  Horn's deal is freshly inked and it's very favorable for us. We can get out of it with fairly miminal cap implications in 2027. I wouldn't touch that one.
    • I can see Dan being aggressive in FA like the other years but he really values draft picks so I cant see any trades going down.
