according to ryan riddle.... He has his reasons and a host of other crap to read If you ready the article.

From film studies, its clear Benjamin is capable of some impressive plays, but when you put his entire body of work together, several limitations are also presented. In all, I’d say the 6’5”, 235-pound rookie wideout is a one-dimensional weapon who landed in the right place to maximize his early production.

Don’t get me wrong, Benjamin is certainly valuable and has done a nice job in his first five games as a pro. But his skillset as a wide receiver is still limited.

Benjamin still has value as a quality weapon in this league and should be able to improve some things about his game. But for those of you expecting him to be the next Calvin Johnson, Dez Bryant or Julio Jones, think again.

Except, you know, stats and all.

KB so far: 416 yards 4 tds

KB projected over 16 games: 1109 yards 11 tds

Megatron's rookie season: 756 yards 4 tds

Bryant's rookie season: 561 yards 6 tds

Jones' rookie season: 924 yards 4 tds

KB has ALREADY equaled two of their TD totals six games into the season. He is on pace to shatter Bryant's yardage mark and beat the other two by a healthy margin.  Even if KB doesn't maintain the level he's been playing at, he'll still easily surpass every stat I listed except possibly Jones' yards if KB takes a steep decline.  Is he Megatron?  Probably not.  Is he on the level of Dez and Julio?  I'd say so, with room to exceed them.

edit: because I forgot we've played 6, not 5 games.

I guarantee you that if Kelvin went to any other team than the Panthers, they would be claiming him the next elite WR. What is it with the Panthers and the media. Can we have anything? It seems like everybody good we have are either overrated or will be a bust in the next 2 years according to the media. He has only played freakin 6 games, what is with these people?

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
