The last time the Panthers won a playoff game a Nelly song was #1 on the Billboard charts. V for Vendetta and Mission Impossible III hadn't come out yet. You're telling me WE are the ones that have had the right strategy?

Get back to the point where you explain how we fit him under our cap.

We hired Gettleman less than 2 years ago. Your twisting of facts and timelines is as bad as the political ads.

To put our cap in a story form:

Imagine you have a Ferrarri (Cam), but the only tires you have are monster truck tires (stew and dwill). You financed the ferrarri but it has a huge balloon payment coming up so you can only replace 1-2 (luke kuechly, KK, star) tires per year for the next 2-3 years.  You have to leave your brand new Ferrarri in the elements because you garage(Oline) has no roof and no door. Also in the meantime you decided you wanted to get a state of the art speakers for your sound system(Greg Hardy) but 1 week after having it , it broke and you don't have a warranty.

Now you would love to sell your monster truck tires for what you paid for them, but you live in the city and no one drives monster trucks anymore.  You want to fix your garage but you need to get tires first.  The radio you have right now only works sometimes and the rear speakers don't work at all because they are old.  To top it off, every time anyone else in the neighborhood buys new tires people call you cheap.  Even though at the moment you can barely afford gas.

The End.

I swear, every time any other team signs or trades for a guy, it's guaranteed people will be on here screaming 'WHY DIDN'T WE DO THAT?!!!"

It doesn't matter whether it's a good move, a bad move, someone we need, someone we don't need, what the cap hit would be (apparently we don't have to worry about that) or whether it makes any actual sense.

All that seems to matter is SOMEBODY DID SOMETHING!

Whether or not it was a smart move or a move we could have afforded is apparently irrelevant.

(and people wonder why teams don't listen to fans)
