Johnson has renegotiated his contract two years in a row and played well today.

Played well today? Half the season is almost over. Renegotiated is not the same as taking a pay cut. He is still tremendously overpaid for his production this year. He has been complete poo and playing well today may mean he played better than he has been but that doesn't mean playing well. It means not playing like complete poo. He had like 2 good plays this game and 1 good play last game basically after half of the season.

He's one of those contracts only worth it to a desperate team. I will admit the Panthers were desperate for him after the lockout and had

no choice but to overpay him and show him money he couldn't refuse. Right know he is now showing the price for overpaying and is just one contract added to the many holding the Panthers down. All the post-lockout contracts by Hurney look go awful now and need to go.

Godfrey at nickel is the worst decision on the team. Hes not quick enough to play a slot receiver. Its just a really bad idea. Hes better at safety but thats not saying much.

what is it with ppl singling out one player on d fence when there's a long list of suck on d Godfrey sucks at nickel but Harper and decoud are costing us touchdowns on d repeatedly also there not playing in a position they haven't played since 6 years ago

With the exception of Bene, everybody in our secondary makes me miss Captain Munnerlyn...at least he played hard consistently and was capable of INT's.

Godfrey sucks period and has his whole career he's been singled out from the get go, especially by QBs.

 

No one is taking up for Decoud or Harper or deflecting when they are brought up.
