Kevin Durant responding to a criticism of Cam

I was browsing other forums yesterday. Most said the coordinator needs to be fired.

Opponents' forums? I was looking at the Seahawks one and all they were talking about was how bad Cam was and how he isn't half the player or leader that Wilson is and all that bullsh(t. Like once every couple of pages someone would say "Can't blame Cam his o-line sucks, but Wilson is still better" but for the most part they were ripping him up. They're blinded by some insecurity about how their QB compares to others, which results in them not watching the game as a whole but just whether the QBs get completions or incompletions. Or in other words, idiots.

It's the same here when a certain QB who shall not be named gets named.

Well, that's expected from other teams' site but it's when it's done on this site and other Panthers' site and not put in true context, there lies ur problem.

I see a kid that is doing everything he can to win for his team. I also see a kid whose self esteem and confidence is slowly but surely destroyed by the team he is trying to help.

IMO, Russell didn't play any better than Cam. As a matter of fact, take a way his TD and he and Cam would have been tied stat wise. But, it's clear unlike Cam's, his team will always try and find a way to make him shine by winning.

All the other talk about leadership is nothing more than media regurgitation. Some folks won't know what maturity and leadership was if it jumped up and kicked them in the arse. BTW, isn't Russell the one who is already divorcing his wife after like two years of marriage? We need to stop judging Cam through the filter of a bunch of ego driven brats in and out of the media.

But I will say, I do love the Seahawks. Not a lot of money spent on players but money well spent.

You don’t cheat on a woman who has been with you through everything and gave you children and especially not with another man’s wife. He doesn’t even have any remorse about it, acting like nothing happened.
    • That's a big ass center! Is there any center in the NFL that weighs 320 lbs? Also, we drafted a center last season. Not sure this guy is a center even if he took reps at the senior bowl. Looks like a guard to me unless his build is better suited to a lesser weight. In a zone scheme centers need to be able to move quickly.
    • The majority of NFL draft picks don't play all too many snaps lined up directly across from another NFL player, and I don't think many people really realize this. Unless you play a game against one of the 2-4 schools that are putting half their lineup into the NFL each season, most teams who have multiple draft picks, MIGHT only have 2-4 draft picks in any given season. Some skill positions get around 30 players drafted each year, other positions are in the teens to low 20's.  With at least a handful of them coming from non power conference schools too.  So the odds for any WR or CB to get too many games lined up directly against another future draft pick is pretty low. The better odds are that they get lined up against a future NFL player, i.e. a junior or senior WR getting lined up against a freshman or sophomore DB who will get drafted in a couple of years. Then if you take it one step further and look for players who actually play in the NFL and make a difference.   You're basically looking at players drafted in the first 3 rounds of the draft, so a little less than 100 players a year, spread out across all the positions and conferences (which in today's massive conferences, teams have even lower odds of player the teams with more NFL players than ever before).
