I think both Stewart and Williams look their best when one of the other is hurt. Let's them find a groove.

But Williams normally shows up for NO oddly. Normally his best game on the year. Trend might be at NO and not home though

28 looks the best overall in the read options....always has. I like us staying out from under center.

Go back to more of that pistol look with 28 as the dive and Williams being a pitch option of that if Cam wants it. That was always the best mix IMO. The traditional stuff ain't worth it

Why are you being reasonable about Williams recently?

It's nice but feels strange.

The Williams thing really has turned into something it never really was....

Like people forget I didn't want 28 when we extended 34. I wanted 34 to be the long haul back....

My Williams dislike has never been about the actual RB. Situation, offense, scheme is what I disliked and wanted to avoid. He simply feels he heat of it when we talk about the situation.

I got no real beef with the actual player. Still good in a vacuum. We don't present a good situation for him to succeed is all and the Hurney deal just makes the position a burden.

    • Saints - I see a win here.  Kamara has been banged up, their speed is gone with Shaheed, Shough is a rookie.  They could pull it off if their D holds us under 15. Falcons - Falcons have been a pure hot/cold team this year.  Beating the Bills and getting swamped by our squad.  There's a a chance they fire back on their home turf.  Toss up.   49ers - I think this is winnable depending on Purdy/Pearsall.  They've been rotating through injuries nearly every week.  Minus a very healthy CMC this year.  Another toss up. Rams - Rams are damn good but they're a team that can be caught in off weeks.  Although, I don't see that happening.  Not the best matchup for us. Saints V.2 - Another winnable Bucs - Division, anything is possible Seahawks - If they continue playing this way, could be ugly. Bucs - Division battle but they could have it wrapped up by this point and could be a W. - I see 3 games that I have a very hard time seeing us win (Seahawks 1 of the Bucs, and the Rams) That makes best case, a 10-7 season possible.  Probably not enough for the playoff given the NFC this year. A reasonable expectation is 3 wins from this bunch and we end up 8-9.  Would hate to see 7-10 or worse.  We're trending up and have guys that are improving.
    • Give him this week off. Last thing we need is to have our stud rookie WR having chronic hamstring issues. Every time you tweak a hammy, you’re a lot more prone to another injury reoccurring.
