Put very simply, we must win these next 2 games to keep our season alive. For those of you thinking they're not must wins, think about the psyche of a team that goes into their bye at 3-7-1.

I know I'm stating the obvious here, but we need these two wins badly. If we lose either one of the next two games, In my unprofessional opinion, I think that we can just pack it up for the year.

What a disappointing season it has been thus far. Here's to hoping we can replicate a run similar to last years.

I would rather my team play like hell and get killed than lay down in the middle of the season. Makes no sense to me but ok

 

I didn't say they needed to "lay down." I said I'd rather draft the best LT in the draft than finish close to .500 and miss the playoffs or squeak in just to lose in the 1st round. The best LT is more valuable than a few victories in another wasted season.

      2023 PFF grades for Carolina's defense Defense: 73.0 (15th) Run Defense: 65.1 (13th) Tackling: 32.0 (32nd) Pressure: 71.5 (21st) Coverage: 79.8 (12th) 2024 PFF grades for Carolina's defense Defense: 44.7 (32nd) Run Defense: 37.5 (32nd) Tackling: 43.3 (21st) Pressure: 51.9 (32nd) Coverage: 50.1 (29th) The 2024 defense was historically bad due to a lack of talent as a result of little-to-no resources being committed during the offseason, poor team building by prior regimes, and injuries to two of its most important players. However, the defense was serviceable 2023 - 2024 with pressure and tackling being the biggest issues (despite not having Jaycee for most of it). I understand that folks are low on Evero because they desperately want a sacrifice for last season's results, but a step back from the ledge shows that it wasn't all terrible in his first season as DC for the team.

      Alternate between Renfro and Blackshear for now. Simply not muffing the punt is the current goal. As far as Horn goes I'd prefer to not tempt fate with that one given our investment.
