Would you rather...

Do you think that's a realistic scenario?

Absolutely, because if we were to go to the playoffs, that means we would be going in because our defense finally turned it around. If Shula were to lay another clunker in the playoffs two years in a row (especially since it is nationally televised), then his ass would be under heavy scrutiny.

...the Panthers make the playoffs, even if it means everybody on the coaching staff gets retained?

OR

...see the team lose enough games in embarrassing enough fashion to force staff changes?

If you're completely honest, how would you rather this season play out?

The second one, all the way. Next season we will still have the key pieces

I want us to win out, win the Super Bowl, draft a franchise LT and Speedy WR, fire Shula and replace him with a real offensive coordinator and then win then win the next 20 Super Bowls.

How about we win the Super Bowl, score eleventy billion points in the process and someone hires Shula to be their HC?

Honestly... I'd like to see us finish second in division, NOT make playoffs so we don't fug ourselves and lose draft spots like last year, and let Shula go, but keep Rivera and McDermot, a new ST coordinator could help too, how the fug we keep getting 12 men on the field amazes me

Unfortunately, situations like we are in seem to work themselves out. I would love for this team as a whole to come together and make the playoffs. If they do make it, then it shows Ron and co can adjust to win. If not then we know they cannot and need to go.

Depends, because if we just luckily back into the playoffs and get blown out in the wild card then I'd rather just lose and get staff changes. But if we look good down the stretch and win a playoff game then of course I want that. Just no more fools gold
