NFL London: You Guys Good With This?

The NFL doesn't care about the Panthers or their fans. It's evident during most games by the way they're officiated. We also always seem to be disrespected throughout the media no matter how good or crappy our record is.

Long story short, you will get no discount, and they don't care. You should be angry.

Yet you continue to support it by watching. Makes logical sense.

If I had a job or a girlfriend that cheated, disrespected me, etc.....I would get past my anger and move on to something better. You should consider the same.

I guess I'm the only who thinks a trip to London to watch the Panthers sounds awesome.

A "home game" in Wembley would be the shittiest thing ever. 95% of other teams fans or even people who have not much clue what is going on on the field. Europe is NOT ready for the NFL.

We had the NFLE here and it failed.

So it would be like a Steelers, Bears, or Cowboys game in Charlotte? Ok....

A team in Toronto or even Mexico City makes more sense.

Toronto yes, Mexico City, no.

London may struggle to attract top FA's and the primary language there is English. You're not going to get a lot of players that are willing to go live in Mexico City since they can't speak spanish. Not to mention the stigma of crime throughout Mexico (even though Mexico City is pretty far removed from the drug cartel violence).

People tend to not have much interest in minor leagues. They want to see the best players.

You must have gone through a lot of jobs/girlfriends/sports teams etc.

For what it's worth I'm all for NFL in London. We love it and it's becoming a lot bigger here. Plus I'm sure a weekend in London isn't that much more expensive than a weekend in NY if you're a travelling fan is it?

To be fair, I have been to several Games in BoA over the past years, and the crowd was always awesome. Even with many away fans, it is still 100 times better than what you get here in Europe. Believe me. I think we are complaining on a very high level when talking BoA.

We might not be able to compare with Seattle or Green Bay, but we are not as bad as we put orselves sometimes.

The problem is that most of my fellow Europeans know next to nothing about American Football and simply don`t care about it. And they will not change their mind just because there is ONE team in London. Compare it to soccer in the US, with the exemption that the MLS has a pretty good level now. All the American Football leagues that exist here in Europe are so bad, a good HS team would beat any Champion here.

You'd be charged one game less, since it's not a game you can't attend. Otherwise, they'd be playing to empty seats in London because the tickets are held over here.

The bigger question would be the ramifications of the game that gets moved. If it's a high draw game (us-Saints or us-Falcons), what about the money it takes away locally. Does Charlotte get reimbursed? Hotels, restaurants, cabs?

i highly doubt they'd do a divisional matchup over there.
