Brown - 113 yards, 0 td, 10.3 ypc, 5 first downs

Bersin - 104 yards, 1 td, 11.6 ypc, 7 first downs

Hardly 10x.  Much closer to 1x.

Please watch the games. Brown's been out for a couple weeks and got 80 of those yards in meaningful time as the #2 WR against the Steelers' #2 corner. Aside from like 3 catches and 20 yards in 3 different games, Bersin's yards and td all came in garbage time with DA in at QB against scrubs. Not to mention Bersin's drop that ended in an interception. There's a reason Brown's above Bersin on the depth chart and there's a reason Bersin had been on the practice squad for 2 years and would be there this year too if we had some decent depth at WR.

No it doesn't. Brown has shown 10x more than Bersin has, in less than one year compared to Bersin's 3 years.

Yes it does. Your opinion is way off.  10 times, you say?   Brown has been targeted more than Bersin--he has 11 catches and Bersin has 9.  Bersin has 2 catches over 20 yards and 1 TD.  Brown has neither.  Bersin has more yards after the catch than Brown.  Total yards are about the same, a slight edge going to Brown.  10x?  OPINION, and not a good one.

Brown is more of a slot, speed WR and Bersin is more of a possession WR.  So if you think that does not make a difference in NFL personnel decisions and playbooks, then you need to look a bit more closely.

I can tell you haven't watched them play.

I have--Brown was so so with flashes at Ohio State--I have family there and stay up to date.  Tell me, what about their play that is not associated with numbers separates them so much?  I like things like receptions, TDs, yards after the catch, etc.  What exactly are you using to measure players?  Philly is more flashy and shifty, but it has not translated to the field in a way that makes him better than Bersin.  You need to learn that your opinion, especially when you support it with zero facts (because there are none to prove that Brown is "10x better"), is probably wrong.  This conversation is over.

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
