Says we need more speed at WR, then trys out slow receivers....

So we spend all our time trying out players that we will never sign instead of having a 2 week jump on the Vikings...smh

They took a day to have tryouts. They do that every week.  Nothing new or different about how much time they are spending on it.

Yes.  It is routine. And they are keeping with the routine no matter what.  I bet Shula's planning and strategery for this weekend's game is the same as last week.

I can see the following scene playing out.....Rivera > "Shula do you have a game plan for the Vikings game yet"?

Shula > "i sure do Ron, it's right here in the play book i use every week". Shula quickly opens the playbook, filled with nothing but blank pages..

Rivera > " That's strange Shula,it looks exactly like the playbook i use when i make decisions at the end of close games".

    • Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.
    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
