When hating Rivera, remember this...

The grass isn't always greener. I've been reading and hearing lately about the Jay Gruden, Robert Griffin III drama, and my god is it ugly and petty. Publicly calling each other out, and Gruden putting much of the blame on RG3's shoulders when they lose.

Read the below article from PFT in it's entirety and thank your lucky stars that for all his faults, at least Stoic Ron isn't the ringleader of a damn circus like these clowns.

I don't see anything wrong. It is time to stop coddling RGIII. He is a spoiled brat who thinks everything is handed to him and Gruden is saying it like it is. Either go out there and perform and get better or he's going to bench your ass. I actually commend the dude for having the balls to say it. And I can assure you, if we were a bigger market team, we would look just like they are right now.

RG3 is what everyone said Cam was going to be.

I think a lot of people made him the golden boy to prove how "not racist" they were for destroying Cam the year before

Just my humble opinion, I may be wrong.  Not trying to make this a race baiting thread

Grass will always appear greener when you are losing.  John Fox couldnt even save this team with a lack of talent when he was here.  At some points you have to have players able to complete the job.  Shula as we know lacks faith in either his game planning, Cam or the OL to protect Cam.  These guys are human they second guess themselves they worry they panic it happens....We will be ok, it is not like we have had back to back winning seasons.  We know we have a lack of talent on the field thats no secret.  We are seeing the results of replacing your entire WR core, losing all Tolbert and losing OL depth does to a team.  It is the NFL it will fugging catch up to you if their are holes in the ship.  This is not a movie, this is real life.  We will bounce back, lets not keep drilling more holes.  A new coach means even more player personal changes, at least this staff knows what the issues are now.

lol if anyone cared about the Carolina Panthers you would realize how awful it is here. We are run by an owner who is absolutely clueless and is a shill to the NFL. Not one time have we had winning seasons back to back. I hate to tell you but its just as bad here as it is there, just no one outside of us cares.

    • And those targets are mostly going to TMac, who will be a part of the FUTURE of the team. Did it remove the most reliable WR and Bryce's safety blanket? Absolutely. But it's also allowing him to build better chemistry with TMac, Stephens, Horn, Evans, etc. I am pumped to see Coker back and hopefully they can reignite that connection.
    • It's the same thing that made Bryce the #1 overall pick. I've never seen such mass delusion about a football player before. Everyone convinced themselves that the fact that Bryce was below to severely below average in practically every physical attribute for an NFL QB just wouldn't matter because he has everything else you need and that'll more than make up for it. When has such an argument ever been made for an NFL prospect before? We watch prospects plummet every year because they run a couple tenths slower in the 40 time than expected. Smitty had everything you want in a receiver except he was 5'9" so he goes in the 3rd round. That's the way these things generally go. If you check a lot of boxes but leave some key ones unchecked you're not an elite prospect. With Bryce though, the physically limitations were always obvious so it gave more time to be able to build that into the equation and come up with reasons for why he'd be able to overcome it. Now we have all these same shortcomings having shone brightly on the NFL field and we STILL have people trying to convince themselves he'll be able to overcome it while ignoring that our past two wins and his improved play have come while riding the back of RB putting up GOAT RB production over the past two weeks. What changed wasn't Bryce. What changed is that Rico is playing out of his damn mind. Pretty much every NFL roster caliber QB can shine if he can get 200+ yards out of the RB behind him.
