I think we certainly have leaders, the problem is a severe lack of accountability from our coaching staff.

 

You can only throw your players under the bus so many times after a blowout loss.

This is when I learned to disregard this guy's shortsighted shallow football knowledge. Look back through any of the vehemently anti-Cam posters and you'll find hints that they don't know what they're talking about.

To be fair, some people who get praised for their football knowledge are still beating that drum.

the problem is once again comparing a 10+ year veteran GOAT qb to a guy entering his 4th year.

 

Cam is not gonna be petyon manning and tom brady. I doubt ever. those are rare. He still needs work and i bet he would have continued nicely from last year with a competent oline. That said i still believe this is an 8-8 team this year if rivera wasn't so fuging god awful.

 

i mean cam was killing it from the pocket until after the cinci game. so what happened? oh yea he was getting lit the fug up.

 

The problem is actually the way you are framing my comments to support your position.I compared him to the top 25% of qbs in the NFL, not the GOAT.  He barely fits in the top half of the NFL--hardly the GOATs, but my point is "Nobody knows,"  which is why all of the Cam supporters (I am a Cam hopeful), start listing reasons he is underperforming.  Some call them excuses, but I think there is something to it.  However, we are going to pay him, and they will attempt to build talent around him.  Then Cam will show us how good he can be.  It should be noted that others have succeeded through the same adversity that we are attributing to Cam's struggles. I hope it works.
