First serious..

Crashing his motorcycle while speeding on it was pretty serious. So was driving down the road a hundred miles an hour and taking a pic of the speedometer (and tweeting it) with his phone. In both cases he could have gotten himself or someone else killed.

And this season is a little beyond 'serious'. He's not barred from the team or the facility, but is he working out or helping teammates? Nope, he's off collecting checks, having fun and being a dolt on Twitter while his teammates suffer through a nightmare season.

He's not coming back, and frankly, that doesn't bother me much anymore.

Well, my favorite Hardy WTF moment of the season still has to be right when training camp started and the Panthers were trying to get his trial out of the news and in the past, Hardy invites one of his trial witnesses to sit and be his guest at camp right next to the media area.

Someone tweeted asking him if he was negotiating an extension with the Panthers.

His reply was: "Panthers?"

As if he didn't recognize the team that stood by him until Goodell benched his sorry ass. The same team that is paying him $13 million this year to sit on his sorry, irresponsible ass.

People have different views on this, but I think to say he "killed" his teammate is unfair. The teammate, who's name I forget, willingly rode in the car with Brent knowing he had been drinking and also didn't wear his seatbelt. Both of them showed a lack of judgement, just because it happened to be Brent at the wheel doesn't mean he killed the teammate. Regardless, I do agree with you.

 

You are totally right about the circumstances. I should have phrased it differently. I was having a mini-Kraken meltdown myself reading all of this.  I was just trying to point out the absurdity of it all.

He didn't add "Panthers?" he added "@Panthers ?", relaying the question to the Panthers official twitter account to see if they wanted to respond to it (which I'm sure they won't). It wasn't him saying "derp who are the panthers you speak of? derp". Learn internets.

Either gettleman or rivera said ( when he was put on the commissioners poo list ) that he was still welcome to use the team facilities.

 

 

I got to laugh at all the people taking a dump on Hardy now that they are fairly sure he wont be coming back.  Specially for his lack of good sense off the field.  I wouldnt  care if he tweeted pics of his johnson to some chick in the front office if he brings us a dozen sacks a year.
