help me figure out how to watch this shitty team play on sunday

I am a businessmen's best friend: buying a shitty, inferior product because I'm addicted enough to it that I'll keep dumping my time and resources into it no matter how bad it is. I wish I had more control, but I can't not watch it.

 

Anyway, I'm flying to Vietnam this weekend. I deliberately scheduled my flights so I wouldn't be in the air during the game, but now I've got to figure out the best way to watch it. I land in San Francisco on layover at 12:30 EST, which gives me a half an hour to check into my international flight before kickoff. Does anyone have recommendations about the best way to watch this? I've never been to the airport in San Fran before… are there sports bars there that'll be showing all the games? Has anybody ever used the NFL instant access or whatever it is to watch games on mobile devices? If so how did it work?

 

Worst case I'll sit there with NFL game center pulled up on my laptop, but I'd rather watch the ass-kicking on an actual broadcast. Much like the 2013 season was sweeter after having watched every poo-ass game of the 2010 season, I expect next year's superbowl run will be that much sweeter for having watched the Saints drop ninety on us in the fuging airport.

I do it by drinking a lot of amaretto sours. That way, I don't know if the sour taste is from this garbage team and Ron's stoic face or the drink, and it helps me sleep better at night.

i think your choices are to watch the game or enjoy your day doing something....anything else.

i vote enjoy your layover or maybe get some rest. the long flight over the oceam will be difficult enough without being pissed off the whole time.

I havent been in the SF airport in like 3 years so I may be confused but.I'm 95% sure there are several bars inside the international terminal. You may have to request the game be put on.because they.mainly have.soccer games on for the.international travelers.

If you have Verizon, the NFL mobile app bases the games you get on your location, so that is a no go unless the game is broadcast in San Francisco.

i'll be in an airport terminal from 12:30-4:30. my options are to play civilization v, read, or watch football. civ will drain my brain and i'll spend the flight reading anyway… may as well watch my team play

 

the true test will be a week later when i have to wake up at 2am in danang to watch us play the fuging bucs.

I first would suggest find a bar that has a good selection of whiskey/bourbon because you are going to need it. Basil Hayden is a good choice but what I am learned when I went out of town and our hotel didn't have the ticket was just to simply find a bar that has the ticket.

If you have Dish Network, you could watch it on Dish Anywhere over the airports wifi or ur cell phone hot spot.
