I would not trade him for Brees.

Luck or Russell would be the only two I would even consider. As much as I hate his inconsistency and tendency to shy away in the big moment at the end of games, I think he is going to do too many amazing things over the next few years to trade him for a short stack on the down slope.

I say no.  That may shock some of you who never understood what I was saying about Cam--he is good, but he needs to change his style of play to last in this league. That means a close look at his mechanics.  Yes, he needs help around him-all QBs do-but he has a lot of unforced errors.

 

Cam is not elite, but could be.  I pray he does, and I think his upside is far greater than DB's now.

How can you determine this? When Cam got in that accident people said Cam came out smiling. I doubt there were any cameras around. It's just who he is.
