At 25, I would not expect an immediate starter.

Possible that one of the WR prospects fall that far. Will be like last season on the OT's I am afraid. They were way overdrafted anyway and I doubt Gman picks an OT at 25 that is rated a 3rd rounder.

Philly Brown, Tre Boston, Norwell, Turner, Norman, Bene, have all given us less NEED so I expect us to go BPA

Y not. We got one with Benjamin at 28...it's possible.

What don't you like about him?

I worry about his ability to create separation at the next level. I love his hand strength though and that would benefit Cam.

I would just prefer someone with speed. Like I said, we already have KB give some playmakers now.

Best available LT. Even as good as we've looked on this winning stretch. Bell looks lost, like a CFL back up. Last night missed bucks resulting in Cam getting hit, penalties pushing us back etc etc

Then #2 WR in the 2nd, and a Road grading RT in the 3rd

I expect BPA as well and looking at the big boards, it could end up being an OLB or DE.  Wouldn't be mad either.

But because of the possibility of OTs starting to fall because of recent years, the BPA could very well end up an OT.

No to Strong and No to Funchess.

We need more speed at the WR position. We already have our big WR in Kelvin now give me a guy like Devin Smith or Phillip Dorsett or even Jamison Crowder in the late rounds. You see guys like TY Hilton, Antonio Brown and Odell Beckham tearing it up each week because they all have that second gear.

As for the 1st round pick, I'd love a OT but that seems unrealistic now considering where we are picking so give me Shaq Thompson!

Wasted 4 months looking at cut ups when I knew the pick back on December 29th

Probably Cedric Ogbuhi. That one Michigan receiver/TE (name slips the mind atm) is also worth a look.

    • The panthers offense right now is spiritually the same as the 2010s Seahawks. They want to keep it close until the fourth quarter and then try to pull a rabbit out of their hat. instead of running marshawn into the line 30 times a game, we’re throwing 20 passes behind the line of scrimmage. And instead of Russell Wilson bullshit, we’re getting 20 yard drives to set up a 55 yard field goal. Also that team had multiple hall of famers and we’ve got the worst qb in the league by whatever collections of metrics you want to use
    • So if Bryce could have come to Carolina with the same advantages he had every year at Alabama he would have been successful. Good coaches. Top recruiting classes far better than the opposition. Defense able to bail him out if he has a bad game.  Still doesnt change anything regarding footwork, mechanics, drop backs, reading the field, poor placement or any of the other myriad of issues that are still present in year 3.  Bryce wasn't ready to be the day 1 starter. There's nothing wrong with that. Dalton was clearly the more capable QB, as evidenced by what happened in Seattle in the rain, under extreme pressure. Same players, same coach, same terrible offensive line. Two different offenses.  When you look at Bryce and what he's done in game over the course of 3 years it's not pretty. He has moments of good, but there's been a lot more WTF. But saying Bryce would have been able to lead a team to the playoffs? Based on what we saw from him, he probably would have spent a good bit of year one on the bench holding a clipboard.
    • Feels on brand for Mike Brown.  He's very anti trade.
