Philly Brown update

I am kind of interested in seeing what Proehl has done with Hill. If Brown cannot go I would rather have the speedy Hill than Bersin or Webb. Hill can stretch the field. We are going to need that. Plus they have zero tape on this guy.

I want to believe Proehl has had an impact over the last 5 months.

Yep, hard worker, talented, physical specimen, has done everything asked of him with a smile, really nice guy. What's not to like?

Saw him in the tunnels at Baltimore and chatted a bit. Been a big fan ever since.

 

I have seen him in interviews and I came away with the same impression. A class act.  Guys like Webb are important to football teams because their attitude is contagious.  I believe in character and, in my experience, it is the guy with a solid work ethic and positive attitude that finds a way to win when the chips are on the table.  On the other hand, a lack of character tends to expose itself during the most difficult times.

I would like to find more roles for Webb.  He is a very good athlete. I think Hester would agree.

31 other teams could have activated Hill at any time and they did not.  They all knew he was sitting there.  It kills me how people here are acting as though it is time to activate the secret weapon.

You think that the Panthers will bring in a guy that hasn't played a single game all season, to the playoffs and Magically play him? Don't you think when we were losing they would have used him as the " ACE" then? I mean ya he has experience, but could the Panthers be that crafty keeping a " Secret Weapon" for this long?

Screw Hill, lets see what Webb can do. If he really is a better choice than Hill, fug it, lets go! He did run down Hester, and that is pretty damn fast. He's got to be as fast as philly at least.
