KBs Target Is In Sight

I was looking at Kelvin Benjamin's instagram and something caught my eye. It was posted 4 months ago.

Some people would have laughed at the thought of it, even when we were 2-0. Most "experts" didn't even expect us to make the playoffs. In fact we made every list of teams not to return. So here we are. We've been beaten 8 times but never broken. We sit 2 games from Kelvin's target, the Super Bowl.

This is an opportunity Kelvin. If we are going to disarm the Legion we need your best. We need first downs and touchdowns. You don't make it to the Super Bowl with average performances. It's time to shine.

Cam needs to learn to throw the fade and KB needs to learn to time his jump and catch it as high as possible.............unstoppable

.

Learn to throw the fade? What? In the Dirty Birds massacre, I remember KB dropping a perfectly thrown bomb down the left side line. That seemed like it would have been for at least 70 yards that the kid blew on that play.

That is not a fade.

    • My take on Darnold was always that he was fine with a good offensive line but would wilt under pressure with a poor line (Jets and Panthers). Seattle began the year w/ a pretty bad oline and they improved somewhat but Darnold is showing he is a pretty good qb. Imagine what the Panthers would be today with Darnold and without Bryce Young and all the wasted draft picks to get him.
    • Similar situation but that would be a better version than what we currently have. Sam isn't a franchise QB but he is a good bridge guy. Either Seatle finds a young guy to groom or they have hit their ceiling. They 100% can't put it on Sam's shoulders and expect to win but the team needs to carry less with him at QB to win vs what this team has to do with Bryce.
    • to me the post would suggest Sam Darnold was good last night because Seattle won in a wild game.   Which is what we do with Bryce Young.   Sam Darnold didn't play well last night.  Which is how he trends, goes to a new team.....looks okay and becomes classic Sam Darnold down the stretch.  Last 6 or 7 weeks old bad Sam is coming out a lot (and then a weird Atlanta game mixed in lol).
