He said we shouldve had Smitty on the other side of Benjamin, "or somebody!"

He and LT just said that is why it's so hard for Cam with this team because he has no help.

And I think his statement about Wilson and Seattle being the only other exception is questionable if you include the offensive line.

He nailed it. Gettleman knows it but he's still digging out of Hurney's hole. Cam needs better protection, particularly at LT and at least one other legit weapon.

Not just another pass catcher, but a play maker who commands respect and can make you pay.

Now, my personal opinion, I don't trust that kb will be a #1. He is fairly one dimensional and the drops are a huge problem.

Yep, two 1k yard receivers are definitely not anything to hang your hat on...

kelvin is robin, but you also need the batmobile and the cool batman mask and the bat light to shine in the sky. without those things batman and robin just sit around playing words with friends.

I get the feeling we make a big splash in the draft. Pick up an explosive guy or two for Cam. Pick up a LT. Pick up a safety. Then add depth elsewhere.

Cam Newton doesn't need help. He's Superman remember. Lets continue putting focus on a defense, that's schematically flawed without pressure. That Kaepernick and Wilson was straight efficient against. Let's also say no thanks to threads about solidified WR like Brandon Marshall and defend the chopping our WR core for one that has Brenton Bersin as Cam 1st read.

I think reinforcements are on the way. Hopefully Gettleman learned from his last offseason and will do things a little differently this time around. The problem with first time GMs is that everything is a learning curve like it was for Rivera. You just have to take the good with the bad until then. Cam needs weapons and the line has to get better. And we need improved safety and corner play. Bring in guys to challenge who is under contract.

I have been thinking this as well, but here's a question. I am new to football, so what makes a WR a #1 vs a #2?

Let me get this straight, you start a thread saying that 'Deion Just Said It Best', implying you agree wholeheartedly with him... Then you immediately throw your hands in the air in defense when everyone says that that notion is fuging ridiculous (which it is).
