Can someone tell me why every gotdamn scandal in the world needs the word gate as a suffix? Like there wasn't any scandal prior to watergate? Deflategate has to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my life, and if you are a professional journalist using that word you should kill yourself.

Sports Science today illustrated that 2psi deflation comes out to 1 millimeter of grip and makes the ball travel .003 seconds slower.

 

Probably provides as much advantage as Marshawn's cheating gold cleats, so thankfully he'll be suspended for the Super Bowl.

Did test on Sports Center tonight where they had balls of 11 psi, 13 psi, and 15 psi and didn't tell them which was which. All could correctly tell which was the 11 psi ball and said it gave them a big advantage

No my point is that we don't have nearly enough information to make claims. We need more information, until then we only have assumptions.

 

Correct, until the NFL releases their official statement we probably won’t get details on who exactly did what, etc.

 

The only info we have to go on now is that the Patriots were caught at halftime by NFL officials with 11/12 deflated balls. Thereby proving my point. Not sure why on Earth you would say that they were ”not really” caught cheating based on that..

I think what pisses me off more with this "Scandal" is the Attitude of the Patriots Staff. They have this attitude that nothing will happen to them, that they can get away with it. The know they still go to the Superbowl, and it dosnt matter because it wont be handled untill after the Superbowl. I know for a fact if it was any other team, punishment would have came down quickly and hard. I think Goodell is a horrible Commisioner he is always letting outsiders influence his decision. I so mad because BB has this poo Eatin Grin on his face, and knows that he is safe from any punishment. It is Appauling that there is people sticking up for this team, They have been known to Cheat and Bend Rules, and they are getting away with it again.

So Brady says in the interview he prefers the football to be inflated to exactly 12.5 psi but couldn't tell when they wereturn deflated under 10 psi?? This says without a doubt he knew.

Would the Colts have played with the same footballs? If a slightly deflated ball helps Brady it probably would have helped Luck too. Yet he still blew ass.
