Anyone out there use a fit bit or another piece of wearable technology to track your steps that you take each day? I am looking to purchase something like this that you wear on your wrist. There are a lot ofNew options out in 2015. I'm having a hard time deciding what I should get. I work out 2 to 3 times a week and I walk a lot. Anyone have any recommendations or anyone loyal to a certain brand?

I'm interested in those Jawbone things you wear on your wrist. Like a fitbit but also tracks sleep patterns and will remind you to get up and move if you've been sitting too long.

Tons of options out there. If you wear a watch, then you might want to think about waiting for the Apple Watch and just replace it. Otherwise, wearing two "watches" could look kinda weird. But the FitBit is a good investment if you need motivation. It links to your profile on the website, and auto-tracks your calories out. As long as you input your calories in, you'll be on the road to weight loss in no time.

i use a nike fuel band, but it's pretty much useless for anything besides running. weight training, crossfit, etc doesn't really register.

we're about 5 years from these things being really fuging cool though.

Interesting name you have.

The Mods banned me for like 3 weeks when I made a thread asking why the horse incident went down...I guess time heals all!

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
