Actually if you go by what Rodgers said.....he doesn't admit to that. He advised he liked to see what the refs would do. Which could imply they went for standard inspection and played with what the refs deemed okay.

He never said he altered it. He said he liked them overinflated and push the limits.... would want to see if the refs took some out. If the refs deem it okay it is

Rodgers acknowleged the refs ability to inspect.....didn't claim to alter what the refs gave them back to play with (which is what NE is guilty of)

By fielding these balls from the Patriots did they not deem it okay? It's their job to inspect the balls before they are in the field of play.

That's the point.

They inspected them pre game and at half.....something occured inbetween. But only to NE balls. Not Indy ones

It would be a simple thing to regulate if the league cared. No one cares. Why individual teams are responsible for the balls instead of league officials is beyond me.

This would not be that hard to fix. A league rep or the refs should be in control of the balls at all times.
