looky looky here

tbf to sammy, obj has much better qb play to work with.

Amen. Watkins will be back to Manuel. Good luck with that.

Benjamin has cam. Odell has Eli. Adams has Rodgers. Bryant has the rapist. Cooks and Matthews, Landry. Even Lee and Evans have it better.

It will be interesting for us because besides Cooper, theres White, Parker, Funchess, Strong, DGB and some others that are on the table. My pick with those is strong. Rashad Green too.

Its just what I think watching him. Doesnt mean he wont have a bigger season, of course if he plays 16 games he will. He seems clutch so he will be money in the playoffs.

What im saying, and everything is speculation until we get 3 more seasons, is hes a good route runner, fast, catches contested balls, avg 100 + yrds a game and did 12 touchdowns in 12 games.

Thats a really damn good peak. Im not sure how you get any better?

If he plays 16 games next year and catches 20 touchdowns for 2000 yards including league MVP- sure he got better.

His bench is set really high.

^Thats the best reason you can give for why you think he has peaked.  I can somewhat understand that, because its scary to think about him being any better.

But it seems very unlikely that someone can come in as a rookie and already have perfected their craft.  From all the experiences i have ever had, the more you do something, the better you get at it.

I don't think you should necessarily look at stats when talking about a ceiling. There are refinements in every recievers game they try and work on. Also playoff football. Crunch and clutch time we haven't seen from him. He's already elite so you have to look at more specific parts of his game when looking at the ceiling.

It's like cam his rookie year. Almost 5k ttl yards and what was it 35 total Tds? But everyone knew he hadn't hit his ceiling because there were parts of his game that needed to be refined

I agree with all of that and its a reasonable debate.

Cam though had visible improvements(and is still growing) to make in decision making and accuracy etc. Odells refinements are tough beyond those who are truly in the game.

And true clutch football wasnt tested with Odell. His team sucked the whole year, no chance for playoffs, little on the line.

Benji, Moncrief, and Davante Adams got to show their clutch time abilities(Adams along with Bryant Matthews, Moncrief and Robinson were other receivers I really liked).

Odell did not which is why I feel that playoff games should be included with probowl voting.

next season when all the teams have tape is when it will show who truly was the better pick(s).

Id probably say thay if I read a blunt post like mine too.

Put it that black and white its ridiculous I would agree.

Probably referring more to stats and as mentioned previously we have no clutch playoff moment to gauge.

3 more seasons and we can discuss how hes the greatest ever, peaked in his first couple seasons and fell off like Nicks did, improved or whatever.

Right now, just from the bluntness of what I wrote, will laugh at myself right along with you.
