Yeah, don't want Beckham. Trouble. The way Oklahoma tried to backdoor him into playing last year tells you everything you need to know about where the program's priorities are.

This is confusing because they suspended their 5 star RB Joe Mixon for assault on a female.  Also did the same for their leading tackler Frank Shannon for a whole season.  In essence, your post doesn't make much sense.

Beckham was kicked off a SEC football team for numerous drug arrests and suspicions of him being a drug dealer. Not to mention the incident that occurred when he got liquored up and pushed a coed down a flight of stairs. The last one mysteriously disappeared. Bob Stoops had no problem seeking a waiver for this delinquent to play for him last year.

I'm going to assume that the two morons you mentioned were suspended this past season when the whole domestic violence PR shitstorm was going on. So, in essence, DGB got charged and dismissed at the right time. In essence, the two guys mentioned didn't.

As a non pot smoker and someone who has never even tried it. Can we just legalize pot already so we can get these guys on the field. Violent crimes, I get the outrage. Pot, not at all.

The issue that got him the boot at Mizzou was not the 2-3 times he was arrested with a pound of weed in his car - it's the assault on an 18 year old girl that mysteriously went away. I think the charges were dropped. He got lucky because he got it in right before the domestic violence shitstorm started up.

Wanna bet?

Yes, it is desperation, because DGB is a severe headcase. Who cares if he was never convicted. He's a damn mess.

College programs, especially good ones with money can make stuff go away. Look at the crime ring Urban Meyer was running at Florida. Jameis Winston should probably be in jail.  When you are a superstar athlete people are going to give you more than 1 opportunity. It's the guys that aren't superstars that get made examples of.

He wouldn't be the first guy to come into the league with baggage and get his poo together, but look at Josh Gordan and Blackmon. Two very, very talented NFL players who had baggage coming into the league. I think Blackmon has a drinking problem (I think he has like 3 duis) and Gordan can't lay off the pot. The scouts and execs new this when they were drafted and rolled the dice. Doesn't look like their gambles are paying off.

Yeah... it can't be because he repeatedly misses class, parties too hard and beats up his girl. Being inactive from football for about a year only adds to it.

Unless you are in Oklahoma and around the program.  I'm quite sure you are reaching a bit on the first three things you stated.

The girl that was pushed down the stairs supposedly dropped the charges herself.  So, in essence, isn't it a non issue?

According to the source I read - it's because she wouldn't cooperate with the investigation. So you don't know if she didn't cooperate willingly. Regardless, it was the final straw for this dude who has more arrests than he does full college FB seasons. I wouldn't touch this kid with a first round pick.

You one of those UNC fans who only pull for us during BB season? You seem to be very defensive regarding DGB and Sooner football.

Man after the combine and private workouts it'll be foolish to think he won't go in the first especially if he interviews well. To his credit he didn't get in trouble last year at Oklahoma. Do I want us to draft him no not in particular but if by some happen chance we did(extremely doubtful) I wouldn't hate and trash the man from the jump. And support it until his actions show otherwise. Some of yall live on a pedestal like your higher than others
